At Dirt Road Adventures® we cater to the "car camping" enthusiast, those who enjoy the thrill of motoring deep into the gorgeous backcountry of America's West.
What we offer. Our highly descriptive trip guides include four to eight pages of informative text and an internally generated, trip-specific map to guide you through all terrain traveled. All our trips are personally scouted firsthand by our dedicated explorers. All roads traveled are identified, wherever possible, and charted for mileage including road difficulty on a scale of 1 to 10. For instance, at mile 2 expect road category #3; at mile 11 as we, say, begin our ascent into the mountains, expect road category #5 (see Road Legend). You get the picture. Speaking of pictures, all our trip guides are embedded with photos to use as landmarks, often of road intersections. You can see for yourself where to turn!
