This trip through the central section of the Dixie National Forest was a fun little jaunt, great for beginners who feel themselves ready to make the jump onto the journeyman stage. It involves a Cat 4 - 5 ascent up to 8000 feet early in the adventure, but after that turns into a piece of cake. Enjoy beautiful high mountain meadows and some great campsites both primitive and developed, fishing too. So bring your tackle. Also, for you hunters, the abundance of grass makes this big game country for sure. This trip is $6.95.
